Alien Draft Seal is worth considering for a clearly identified air gap where a flexible adhesive strip can contact a sound surface without interfering with movement. It is a less convincing purchase when the problem is a crooked door, damaged frame or water penetration that needs repair.
The important question is not whether the pack contains plenty of tape. It is whether the strip profile, available bonding area and direction of door movement suit the gap. Measure those before ordering, and compare with a conventional door sweep or replacement weather-strip profile.

What matters in daily use
This review covers the 49-foot pack, not the separate 64-foot offer. Transparent material may be less visually prominent than a dark foam strip, but it will still have an edge and an adhesive contact area. Appearance on a glass door or painted trim deserves a small trial before a whole-room installation.
Plan each run, corners included, rather than dividing the package length by the rough width of your doors. A seal that bunches at a hinge or drags along the floor can make the opening harder to operate. Check the door through its full travel before committing to the final placement.

Its energy-saving and long-lasting claims were not supported by a home-specific air-leak test in the material reviewed. We have not measured adhesive strength, removal damage or heating-bill changes.
Our recommendation therefore depends on fit, not a promised percentage saving. A visible draft at one opening does not establish that this strip will solve every source of discomfort in a room.

Fit, care and safety checks
Do not seal required ventilation openings, appliance air supplies, drain channels or emergency exits. A window or door must still open and latch normally after installation. If the gap involves a fire-rated door, follow that assembly’s requirements rather than improvising a seal.
Try the adhesive on an inconspicuous compatible surface first. Do not assume transparent tape will lift cleanly from old paint or delicate finishes. Correct loose or damaged material before attaching anything to it.
