Verdict: useful when collecting water is the tedious part
The Kärcher WV 1 Plus White is worth considering for a home with substantial shower glass, mirrors or broad window panes. It combines a squeegee edge with suction to collect cleaning water in a tank. The strongest reason to buy is a preference for collecting that water as you work, especially if repeated cloth changes or drips make you put off the job.
This is a research-based review of white model 1.633-609.0, Amazon ASIN B0CN1PY2CG. We have not tested streaking, leak resistance or battery life. It still requires you to loosen dirt first and guide the tool across the surface. Someone with a small mirror and a satisfactory cloth routine may reasonably decide that another charged appliance is unnecessary.

The current manufacturer page lists a 9.84-inch working width, commonly marketed as 10 inches, a 3.38-ounce dirty-water tank and a 1.1-pound weight including the battery. Its stated runtime is 25 minutes and charging time is 150 minutes. These are manufacturer figures, not measurements from our use.
The package is described with a charger, spray bottle, microfiber wiping cloth and cleaning solution. Check the selected retailer bundle rather than assuming every WV 1 listing contains the same accessories. This review does not transfer features from the WV 6 or specifications from an older black WV 1.

Features: judge your glass layout before buying
A broad blade can be convenient on an open shower panel, but it needs room for both the nozzle and the body. Measure narrow panes, check handles that protrude in front of the glass and consider how you will finish the bottom edge above a sill. A tool that suits a large uninterrupted window may be awkward around a row of small divided panes.
The included spray-pad assembly gives the cleaning stage its own tool. Think of the process as loosening residue, collecting liquid, then inspecting the edges. Suction alone should not be expected to remove a firmly attached deposit. Where mineral buildup or a special glass coating is involved, establish a surface-approved cleaning method before choosing the appliance.

Research: separate the mechanism from the marketing
HGTV’s March 25, 2025 review of the white WV 1 Plus noted imperfect corner access. That is historical editorial evidence, not current sales momentum or our own trial. Keeping a finishing cloth nearby is a sensible planning choice, rather than treating purchase of a window vacuum as a guarantee that cloth work disappears.
The manufacturer’s exact product page and data sheet establish the model and package. The linked full manual is a WV 1 Plus family document identifying older model 1.633-041.0. We use its general operating cautions with that limitation and rely on the current 609.0 page for specifications. No older charger electrical ratings are transferred into this review.
Kärcher promotes faster, streak-free cleaning. We have not verified a speed multiplier or a universal streak-free result. The practical decision is whether the additional equipment fits your existing routine, storage space and glass layout. Charging time and post-use cleanup belong in that decision alongside the appeal of powered water collection.

Safety: surface water only, with dry charging equipment
Use only on appropriate smooth surfaces moistened during cleaning. The family manual warns against dust, burning material, flammable liquids and hazardous chemicals; it also warns against immersing the appliance. It is not a general wet/dry vacuum, steam cleaner or disinfecting device. Follow both the cleaner label and the surface maker’s care directions.
Switch off and empty the tank at its maximum mark, clean the blade and allow removable parts to dry as directed. Keep the charger and electrical connections dry, use the supplied or manufacturer-approved charger for your exact unit, and stop using damaged equipment. Kärcher’s California Proposition 65 warning identifies possible exposure to lead and diisononyl phthalate as cancer hazards. This review does not measure exposure or establish an independent risk level.

We are not treating the changing offer panel as a price or delivery guarantee. Confirm model 1.633-609.0, package contents, condition, seller, final total and return terms when ordering.
For a used offer, pay particular attention to the charger, tank, blade and spray-pad assembly. Missing parts can erase an apparent saving. Also check replacement-blade and cloth availability before committing, since routine wear and cleaning needs continue after the initial purchase.

Questions: practical answers before you buy
Does the vacuum scrub glass by itself?
No. Loosen dirt with the spray-pad assembly or another approved cleaning method first, then use the vacuum to collect the liquid.
Will it fit every window pane?
The nozzle is approximately 10 inches wide. Check pane size, handles and frame clearance; a narrower space may still require a smaller manual tool.
Can it disinfect a shower?
Water collection is not disinfection. If disinfection is needed, follow an appropriate product’s label and confirm compatibility with both the surface and appliance.
