SocketFan is worth investigating for a compatible open ceiling socket where a small fan and light can operate with proper clearance. It is a poor impulse purchase for a recessed, enclosed or awkwardly angled fixture before checking the installation requirements.
The central trade-off is convenience versus fit. A combined unit may avoid a separate tabletop fan, but the room layout must suit airflow from that exact overhead position. We have not measured airflow, noise or useful coverage.

What matters in daily use
This review identifies the white warm-light variant, SKU 9965, listed at 3, 500K. The page also offers white daylight and black versions. Light color changes the appearance of a room, so the photo of a white housing is not enough to distinguish the warm and daylight choices.
Remote control is useful when the unit is overhead, but the fixture still needs an appropriate electrical supply. Check the instructions for wall-switch use and control behavior rather than assuming it will work with an existing dimmer or smart-light switch. We did not establish those compatibility details.

The official variant list establishes the 9965 identity and color temperature. Promotional language about consistent airflow and low noise was not accompanied by comparable measurements in the material checked. We therefore do not describe it as quiet or suitable for a particular room size.

Do not improvise a chain of adapters to force a fit. If the fixture is loose, damaged or its electrical compatibility is uncertain, resolve that before installation. An enclosed shade or recessed housing should not be assumed suitable.
