Its appeal is using one glass vessel through cooking, serving, and storage, with a purpose-made vented lid. It is less compelling if you need a lightweight lunch container or already have a microwave-safe bowl and cover that suit your meals.

The current official variant is Kale / Clear, SKU 62072-C002. It has a transparent borosilicate-glass bowl and a transparent tempered-glass lid with silicone rim and vent. Clear lids omit the stainless-steel band found on the Frosted line. This distinction matters because some generic product-page answers still describe the older metal-rimmed construction.

Anyday lists capacity as 8 cups, 2 quarts, or approximately 1.9 liters, with published dimensions of 7.9 inches across and 4.2 inches high. A graphic on the Amazon listing instead labels the diameter 9.4 inches. We use the manufacturer specification, but advise confirming dimensions if your microwave fit is tight; the conflicting graphic is excluded from our gallery.

Capacity is the vessel’s volume, not a promise that eight cups of any uncooked ingredient can go in at once. Foods expand or foam differently. Choose the recipe’s dish size and portion guidance rather than filling the bowl to its rim.

The lid’s tab controls whether steam can escape or the container is sealed for storage. Lift it for covered microwave cooking. A see-through bowl also lets you identify leftovers without taking off the cover, a modest but useful everyday advantage when several dishes are in the refrigerator.

The Amazon title emphasizes pasta, but this is broader microwave cookware. Anyday supplies recipes for vegetables, grains, and other dishes. Crucially, its dried-pasta method cooks uncovered, because a covered starchy mixture can boil over. The lid is useful for many other recipes; it is not automatically the correct choice for every food.

Safety: steam, hot glass, and freezing limits

Never microwave the dish empty. Leave the manufacturer’s required one-inch gap from the microwave walls, and use mitts or a towel for hot glass. Open the vent and lift the lid carefully by its knob. Steam can burn even when the bowl looks ordinary.

Stop using chipped, cracked, or otherwise damaged pieces. Do not place the dish on a stovetop, over flame, or beneath a broiler. Anyday permits a preheated conventional oven up to 500°F for the bowl and 400°F for the lid; the lower lid limit controls when they are used together.

The dish is dishwasher safe. Avoid abrasive scrubbers and harsh cleaners. For freezing, cool contents first and follow Anyday’s guidance: do not freeze thin liquids such as water, milk, or broth directly in the dish, because expansion can crack the glass. “Freezer safe” does not remove that exception.
