Verdict: an easy gift if film cost is part of the plan

The Mint Green Instax Mini 12 bundle suits someone who wants the occasion of taking and handing over a physical photograph. Simple controls make the camera approachable, and a starter film pack lets a recipient begin without first choosing consumables. The larger decision is whether printing every shot sounds enjoyable enough to justify ongoing film purchases.

This is a research-based review of Amazon bundle B0F72C159F, not a test of image quality or exposure consistency. Buy it for straightforward analog photography. If you want to review, delete and selectively print images, the Mini 12’s design will feel restrictive.

Facts: an established camera in a specific bundle

The selected listing identifies bundle model 600024589 and a Mint Green Mini 12 with one ten-exposure Instax Mini film pack, a strap, two AA batteries and instructions. Confirm the current seller’s contents before ordering. Some cached retailer wording calls it “Green Bundle 2026”; that label does not establish a redesigned camera or a new Mini generation.

The Mini 12 uses Instax Mini film, not Square or Wide. Fujifilm specifies a 62 × 46 mm picture area on an 86 × 54 mm sheet. The full sheet includes the border, so it should not be confused with the size of the image itself. Two AA alkaline LR6 batteries power the camera.

Features: automatic exposure and closer framing

Exposure and flash output adjust automatically, reducing the number of decisions before a shot. Twisting the lens turns the camera on, and another position enables close-up shooting at 30–50 cm. A small mirror helps frame selfies. These conveniences suit informal portraits and small keepsakes more than someone seeking detailed manual control.

Close-up mode also adjusts the viewfinder framing to reduce the offset between the viewing window and the lens at short distances. It still pays to keep the subject inside the recommended range and leave some room around important edges. Our assessment of that usefulness comes from the design and instructions, not a comparison of prints.

Fujifilm lists approximately 90 seconds for film development, dependent on ambient temperature. A print coming out is not the same as a fully developed photograph. The small format can be charming on a desk or in an album, but think about whether group shots and fine details will remain useful at that size.

Research: a popular family is not a new 2026 camera

TechRadar featured this camera family in a December 18, 2025 shopping article linked to the selected ASIN. That is historical editorial attention, not evidence of current viral growth or a current discount. We have not adopted its award language as our own testing result.

The manufacturer’s documentation describes an analog instant-film camera. Generic retailer fields referring to a CMOS sensor, JPEG quality or digital-still capture do not accurately describe the Mini 12 and are excluded here. There is no screen preview, digital image storage or phone-printing function built into this camera.

For a party or trip, decide how many finished prints you want and allow for experiments or missed shots. Ten exposures are a starter supply. A gift can become frustrating when the first pack runs out, so compare the camera bundle with the cost of replenishing the correct film rather than judging value from the camera price alone.

Safety and care: protect the film and the flash circuitry

Keep the camera dry, follow battery polarity markings and use the specified AA alkaline cells. Do not disassemble or repair the camera: the manual warns about high-voltage circuitry. Keep the camera, batteries and film away from infants and small children.

Do not cut, puncture or peel instant film; its developing paste is caustic. Keep it away from mouths and pets. Avoid close-range flash toward eyes and never flash at drivers, cyclists or animals that could be startled into causing an accident.

Leave the back closed until the loaded pack is finished. Store film away from heat, use it before expiry and follow its packaging instructions. Fujifilm warns about strong X-rays and checked-baggage inspection; check airport procedures before travel. Clean exterior dust gently with a soft cloth and follow the manual for storage.

Buying: budget for prints, then check the bundle

Choose this package if you specifically want Mint Green and a small starter film supply. Compare like-for-like contents: a cheaper camera-only offer and an accessory-heavy bundle may serve different needs. Do not assume a case, album or large film stock is included because similar listing images show one.

Check ASIN B0F72C159F, model 600024589, film quantity, seller, film condition or expiry information, return terms and final total. A retailer’s year label is not a reason on its own to pay more. No current price, availability or delivery promise is made in this review.

Questions: film-camera basics

Does it save a digital copy?

No. You get an analog instant print. A phone can separately scan a finished photograph.

Can I choose which pictures to print?

No. A picture-taking shutter press consumes film; there is no digital preview-and-select workflow.

Does “2026” mean a new Mini 12 generation?

No. It is retailer bundle wording, not verified evidence of a redesigned camera.

Will Square or Wide film fit?

No. Buy the Instax Mini format specified for this camera.
