Verdict: a useful upgrade for frequent bucket-mop users
The O-Cedar RinseClean makes the most sense if you already prefer a bucket mop and want the clean-water supply kept apart from the water spun out of the head. Its pedal-operated wringer and reusable microfiber head suit routine cleaning without charging batteries or repeatedly buying disposable pads.
Our buying judgment: consider it for regular cleaning of suitable sealed hard floors when you have space to store, rinse and dry the two-part bucket. Be more cautious if a compact spot-cleaning tool would cover most of your needs, or if carrying water and operating a foot pedal is uncomfortable.
This is a research-based review of model 169453, ASIN B08ZBDK8BT. We have not used this mop or tested pickup, drying time, leaks, pedal durability or cleaning effectiveness. The assessment below separates documented features from our buying advice.
Reasons to consider it
- Wrung-out water collects separately from the clean supply
- Foot-pedal wringing lets you adjust the amount of water left in the head
- Washable heads offer a reusable alternative to disposable pads
Trade-offs
- The tank, lower bucket and head all need care after use
- Existing original EasyWring refills cannot be carried over
- Conflicting handle-length claims merit checking before purchase

Features: what the two-tank design changes
The upper tank stores fresh water, and its red valve supplies the rinsing area. The wringer sends expelled water into the lower bucket. That separate collection is the main reason to choose RinseClean over the original EasyWring. It does not remove the need to wash a dirty mop head.
To begin, O-Cedar says to close the red flow tab, fill the upper tank through its opening, then open the tab and leave it open while mopping. Dip the head, move it into the spin basket, hold the handle loosely and use the foot pedal. The company suggests five to seven pedal presses as general guidance; check the actual dampness before touching a moisture-sensitive floor.
The triangular frame helps the head approach edges and corners. O-Cedar says its plastic frame and connector are smaller than the original EasyWring’s, with longer microfiber strands. That distinction is useful when identifying refills, but it does not establish that one system cleans a room faster.
The washable head is an appealing ongoing-use feature if you are willing to maintain it. O-Cedar’s dedicated washing guide permits machine washing up to 86°F, with similar textiles, followed by flat air-drying. Keep a clean spare if you want to mop while the first head dries; that spare is an additional purchase.

Research: RinseClean versus EasyWring, and the refill trap
Both O-Cedar systems use a foot pedal for wringing and accept washable replacement heads. RinseClean adds the separated-water arrangement. For someone happy with an existing EasyWring routine, the decision is whether that change is valuable enough to justify buying another system. We have no side-by-side test supporting a claim of better stain removal or faster cleaning.
Check the full refill name. The manufacturer’s comparison page assigns different replacement heads to EasyWring and RinseClean, and its washing guide explicitly rules out interchangeability. Some RinseClean packaging includes the older EasyWring RinseClean branding, so the presence of “EasyWring” alone is a poor way to choose.
The RinseClean Classic refill is the straightforward replacement family. O-Cedar also sells a RinseClean Deep Clean version with an added scrubbing pad, separately from this one-head kit. The Deep Clean page limits compatibility to RinseClean and excludes EasyWring. Do not apply its separate scrubbing-performance marketing to the standard head reviewed here.
The evidence used here includes the exact Amazon model details, current O-Cedar product and care pages, refill pages and an older O-Cedar product guide. The guide is a short feature brochure, not a detailed operating manual. Those sources support product identity and intended use; they do not establish real-world longevity or an independent performance ranking.

Safety: control moisture and read the bacteria claim carefully
O-Cedar lists sealed hardwood, tile, laminate and vinyl among intended surfaces. Your floor’s own care instructions still decide whether this cleaning method and any added solution are appropriate. Sweep or vacuum loose grit first. Use a well-wrung, damp head and deal with excess water promptly. NWFA guidance warns that moisture entering wood-floor seams can cause damage; choose a lower-moisture method if your floor maker requires one.
O-Cedar reports that its microfiber removed more than 99% of E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus from prefinished hardwood and ceramic tile with tap water in an independent accredited laboratory test. This is a bounded removal claim, not proof that the mop kills bacteria, disinfects every floor or prevents illness. We have not independently replicated the test.
If disinfection is needed, clean first, then use a surface-compatible disinfectant for its labeled contact time. Never mix cleaning chemicals. For the mop head itself, O-Cedar specifies no bleach or fabric softener and flat air-drying. Rinse and drain the clean-water tank after use; leave its fill cap and flow valve open to help it air-dry before storage.

Buying: match the bundle, refill and handle before checkout
Use the model and ASIN to distinguish this base system from extra-refill bundles. Check the selected pack, seller, delivery date and return conditions at checkout. Prices, coupons and stock change, so this review does not promise a permanent price or discount.
If replacement-head cost matters, compare the total for the system plus the RinseClean refills you will actually use. Reusable heads still require laundering and eventual replacement. A bulk refill pack only offers value if it fits this connector and matches your cleaning routine.
Handle reach deserves a specific check. Current O-Cedar product text, its comparison page and the Amazon description state up to 51 inches. The older branded product guide and an Amazon gallery graphic say 48 inches. We cannot establish which length every seller’s inventory contains. If those three inches affect comfort or reach, ask the seller to confirm the supplied version.
Before buying, decide where the bucket will be filled, emptied and left to dry. That everyday workflow is more important than a promotional feature count. If your main need is a fast response to small spills, weigh the setup and cleanup against a smaller tool.

Questions: practical answers before you buy
Does this Amazon version include extra mop heads?
The selected B08ZBDK8BT listing specifies one microfiber head total, plus the handle and bucket system. Extra-refill bundles are separate selections. Check the chosen option before ordering.
Will my original EasyWring replacement heads fit RinseClean?
No. O-Cedar explicitly says EasyWring and RinseClean mop heads are not interchangeable. Choose a replacement labeled RinseClean, even if an older package also carries the EasyWring name.
Does the red water-flow tab stay open while mopping?
Yes. O-Cedar says to close it before filling, open it to dispense water, and leave it open during use so the rinsing chamber can replenish. Follow the included instructions for your version.
Where does the dirty water go?
Water removed by the spinning wringer goes into the lower bucket. After use, lift off the upper tank and empty the lower reservoir. Both parts still need cleaning and drying.
Does water-only mopping disinfect the floor?
No. The manufacturer reports removal of tested bacteria from specific surfaces, not killing bacteria. When disinfection is needed, use a suitable disinfectant according to its label after cleaning.
Can I use it on hardwood or laminate?
Only where your floor maker permits the proposed damp-cleaning method. Wring the head thoroughly and avoid standing water. A general hard-floor claim does not override the care instructions for your finish.
How should I wash the microfiber head?
Detach it, wash by hand or machine without bleach or fabric softener, and lay it flat to dry. O-Cedar recommends replacing the Classic refill about every three months; condition and use also matter.
Is the handle 48 or 51 inches?
O-Cedar’s current product text and comparison page say 51 inches. An older branded guide and an Amazon gallery image say 48. We cannot verify which reach every seller’s stock provides; confirm before buying if that difference matters.
