The 6143 makes sense as a compact way to add casual audio and colored light where an appropriate lamp socket is already available. It is less compelling when you want high-quality room audio or a precisely specified main light source.
The crucial limitation is placement: the socket determines where the speaker sits, and the fixture must physically accommodate a larger combined bulb-and-speaker body. An included extender can change clearance, but it does not make every shade or fixture suitable.

What matters in daily use
The remote controls lighting and speaker functions, reducing the need to reach the lamp. The manufacturer manual also describes synchronizing up to 10 bulbs. That is a supported feature description, not evidence that multi-bulb audio stays perfectly synchronized in every room.
Because the bulb obtains power from its socket, turning the controlling wall switch off removes that supply. Think through how other household members use the switch before expecting the speaker to remain available whenever a phone connects.
Colored illumination is mainly an atmosphere feature. White-light brightness can be adjusted, but remote adjustment should not be confused with verified compatibility with a wall dimmer. We did not establish that compatibility for this model.

Evidence and unanswered questions
The official sales page says 450 lumens, while the 6143 model manual says up to 500. We leave that difference visible rather than manufacture a precise output result. Neither figure is our measurement, and fixture shades can further affect the light that reaches the room.
The exact-model manual lists 110–120 VAC, 60 Hz and a maximum 11 W input, and describes a standard E26 base. Those are compatibility checks, not an endorsement for any enclosed, damp or unusual fixture. We have not measured audio quality, wireless range or temperature in a fixture.

Fit, care and safety checks
Turn power off before installation, as the manufacturer directs. Verify that the fixture and local supply match the exact bulb’s requirements and that the bulb and extender fit without forcing components or obstructing required clearance.
Do not assume outdoor, wet-location, enclosed-fixture or wall-dimmer suitability when it is not established. Use the supplied instructions and fixture markings. Keep the remote and its batteries where children and pets cannot access loose cells.

Before ordering
Match 6143 and confirm the remote and extender are included. A generic Bluetooth speaker-bulb search can return unrelated products with different sockets, apps and power requirements. This review does not establish app or voice-assistant support.
If you want music in a room with awkward lamp placement, a separate Bluetooth speaker may be easier to position and use while lights are off at the switch. Choose the combined bulb when the socket location genuinely suits both sound and light.
