Verdict: useful when a permanent bench will not fit
The WORX Pegasus WX051 is worth considering for a garage, small workshop, or occasional repair setup that must fold away between projects. It combines a modest worktop with integrated clamping and a separate sawhorse configuration. Its main appeal is providing a repeatable work position without dedicating floor space to a permanent bench.
This research-based review covers ASIN B01HREBZ3M and model WX051. We have not tested stability, deflection, clamp force, or setup time. The published load ratings are manufacturer limits, not measurements made for this review. A folding table still needs suitable ground and careful support for each workpiece.
Reasons to consider it
- Folds for storage
- Two clamps and four dogs included
- Separate table and sawhorse modes
- Published size and mode-specific capacities
Trade-offs
- Fixed 32-inch working height
- 30 lb still needs carrying
- Large stock may need extra supports
- Not a ladder or permanent heavy bench

Facts: keep the two load ratings separate
WORX lists a 31 × 25-inch top, a 32-inch working height, and a 30 lb weight. Its folded dimensions are 35 × 25 × 5 inches. Measure the storage gap and the route you will carry it along, rather than assuming folded means easy to move for every user.
The open worktable capacity is 300 lb; the sawhorse-mode capacity is 1,000 lb. The specified clamping width is 18 inches. The current exact-ASIN offer lists two quick clamps, four clamp dogs, and two table links. These figures describe different aspects of the system and should not be substituted for one another.
| Model / ASIN | WX051 / B01HREBZ3M |
|---|---|
| Worktop | 31 × 25 inches |
| Working height | 32 inches |
| Folded size | 35 × 25 × 5 inches, per WORX |
| Weight | 30 lb, per WORX |
| Worktable load capacity | 300 lb |
| Sawhorse load capacity | 1,000 lb per unit |
| Maximum clamping width | 18 inches |
| Included accessories | Two quick clamps, four clamp dogs, two table links |

Features: clamping built around the tabletop
The quick clamps locate in the table’s channels, while the dogs provide contact points for appropriately shaped stock. That can help keep a workpiece in position during small assembly, sanding, or repair jobs. The actual setup still depends on shape, thickness, and whether the clamping direction restrains the movement your task will create.
The lower tray gives a place for small tools and supplies. It also forms part of the opening sequence: the manual requires the legs fully spread and tray flat. Do not treat a partially opened arrangement as a convenient narrow-footprint alternative.
Table links allow compatible supports to be joined into a larger working area. Extra surface area may be useful for awkward projects, but connecting units does not justify an arbitrary increase in point-load, impact, or sideways-force limits. Use the manufacturer’s setup and support guidance.

Research: a portable support system has limits
Our buying assessment is that the Pegasus makes most sense for people whose projects are constrained by storage and setup space. If a fixed bench already gives you the height, hold-down options, and rigidity you need, the main additional benefit here is portability.
A large board can overhang a 31-inch table substantially. The manual specifically warns that cutting material from one end can change the balance enough to tip the remaining work. Plan support for both the main piece and the offcut before choosing where to clamp.
We matched the ASIN to the official WX051 product and reviewed its manual. Some retailer graphics show two sawhorses with a combined headline rating; our specification remains 1,000 lb per unit in the correct mode. We did not convert any advertising demonstration into an independent load test.

Safety: lock, support, and keep clear of the joints
Set up on firm, level ground. Open the legs completely and check the tabletop latches are securely engaged before loading. Confirm that the workpiece is firmly clamped. Never stand on the Pegasus, regardless of the published material capacity.
Keep fingers away from folding joints and latches. The manual says to carry it folded, vertically, and close to your body. Inspect damaged parts before use and store it dry and out of children’s reach.
Use eye protection and appropriate dust protection for the operation, and follow the instructions for the cutting or drilling tool as well. The manual warns that wet conditions compromise clamping and grip. Keep the blade path clear of clamps and supports, and wash hands after use as directed by its product warning.

Buying: measure your project and your storage space
Choose it if the 32-inch height, 18-inch clamping width, and tabletop size fit your recurring jobs. Budget space for additional supports when long boards or large panels require them.
Before checkout, confirm WX051, one table, and the stated accessory bundle. Check the seller, returns, delivery, and final total. Amazon may describe the overall clamp bar length differently from the usable opening; follow WORX’s 18-inch clamping specification. Questions: capacity, clamps, and connected tables
Is the table rated for 1,000 pounds?
Only in its sawhorse configuration. The open worktable rating is 300 lb. Do not apply the higher figure to the extended tabletop or confuse a two-unit illustration with one unit’s rating.
Can I stand on it to reach something?
No. The owner’s manual explicitly prohibits standing on the tool. Its material-support capacity is not a person-support or ladder rating.
How wide a piece can the clamps hold?
WORX specifies an 18-inch maximum clamping width. A retailer’s description of the clamp bar’s overall length is a different measurement and does not increase the usable opening.
Are two tables included?
No. The reviewed WX051 offer is one table with two quick clamps, four dogs, and two links. Images of connected tables illustrate an expanded setup that needs additional supports.
Will it connect to any sawhorse?
WORX identifies compatible Pegasus, Sidekick, and its clamping sawhorse products at the same working height. Do not assume another brand has matching height, connectors, or attachment points.
