Features
Three pairing slots are the useful feature here. A desk with a work computer, personal laptop, and tablet can share one typing surface without repeatedly opening Bluetooth settings. Switching selects one host at a time; it does not make the keyboard type on all three simultaneously.
The compact shape leaves more room beside the keyboard for a pointing device or notebook. The trade-off is losing the dedicated number pad. Think about your real workload: long columns of figures make that omission more important than it is for messaging or ordinary writing.
Logitech provides ten customizable shortcut keys through Options+. Treat the printed shortcuts as conveniences to check on your own operating system, because the support table shows that some functions differ or do nothing on mobile hosts. Follow the getting-started guide when changing the two AAA alkaline cells, including their direction in the battery compartment. Keep loose batteries away from children and pets, and never try to recharge disposable cells. Logitech’s up-to-36-month figure is an estimate for replaceable batteries, not runtime on a USB charge.

Do not assume its advice about removable mechanical-keyboard keycaps applies to this model. Let the keyboard dry before restoring power.
